Bowling with the kids

With our little modern woodmen service club
we went bowling as families. We don't go very often
so my score would have shown you. We enjoyed ourselves
I Think the kids had a good time.

Bowling is good times. It takes me back to Price on the
weekends with my friends. That is all there really was
to do is bowling and playing pool. I love small town
bowling alley's.

Bloomington family campout in Fish Haven!

So the stake presidency said this weekend was
each family to sleep out together. Some wards have a
ward family sleepout since our ward is anti social
with things like that a few families got together to
enjoy the water and outdoors. We camped down on
grandmas grass with the Turners, Passeys, and the
Payne's. We had so much fun!!!

I promised myself after an awful camping trip when
Aubrey was 3 months old I would never camp with
a baby again. But I thought for one night so close to
home, and with a good baby I would give this a try.
and try I did until 3 am in the morning and Rod
and I were grateful home was only 10 minutes away
because we got into the car and drove home! Then got
up and headin back in time for breakfast. ahhh my kind
of camping.

The older girls enjoyed craft time at the table.
Our cousin Makenna was also visiting her grand-
parents and joined us for a short time.

The kids enjoyed roastin marshmellows over the
campfire. Good times! We laughed and enjoyed
eachother so much. I forgot my camera when we
went to the beach, but we enjoyed waverunners,
the boat and just fun in the sun. Until you get home
and need a whole bottle of aloe vera for you burn!
I think we should make this an annual thing we
had so much fun.

Fourth or July in Bearlake!!!

The boys spent the time digging a large hole. It was
too cold to go swimming. This made a great hole to
swim in for the little boys. This is Enoch having a little
dip in the hot tub.

Yes that is me with a jacket on and freezing, on the
beach on the fourth of july. After about an hour
and a really bad wind storm we gave up and packed up.

These girls were snuggling in the back of the truck
trying to stay warm. Notice if you will how strongly
their hair is blowing. A minute after this they were huddled
with there heads down as the stinging sand storm hit.

This is my festive cake I made for the festivities. I was
pretty proud of my creative ability!

Our kind friends in Lava

Our really good friends own the KOA in Lava Hot springs
They are such wonderful friends. We enjoyed hanging out,
hiking, swimming and visiting. I have also learned I am love
camping with a K! Thanks guys for a fabulous week!

Our week in Lava hot springs

We had so much fun staying with our friends
in Lava for the week. We went to visit and have
swim lessons. These are pictures or our day at the
outdoor pool. The kids learned so quickly how
to swim. We spent 6 hours in the pool.

There was lots of way fun slides to go on.
Aubrey had so much fun
on the little slides and the big slides.
She is swimming so good
all by herself.

Chance also learned very quickly how to swim.
He loved being in the water.
Its a good thing he was in the
water as much as he was or he would
have been even burnt
worse than he was.

Rodney loved the water. He sat on my lap in the water
almost the whole time. My friend tiffany held
him while took Aubrey down the big slides,
Well he was so relaxed he fell asleep on her lap,
in the water. A friend loaned me
these sunglasses for him and they were perfect.
He did not even try to take them off. Maybe he knew
what a stud he looked like in them.

Rodney 6 months old!

Sometimes its hard to be 6 months old!!
This picture we had to take because
Rodney is rarely making this face. He is
usually found with a smile. He has been such a
happy baby.

He is loving sitting up. He gets distracted so we have
to put pillows behind to catch him when he forgets
to use his core muscles and falls. He also loves his
fleece tractore blanket. He gets excited when you
hand it to him. smiling, kicking his feet and pulling
it immediately to his face to rub his face with it. We
got two of them because he can't fall asleep with out
them.

We refer to him as the drool monster.
His shirt is usually wet and there is always
a extra shoe lace hanging out of his mouth!
So kisses get a little slobbery but we still love to
get kisses from Rod!

Aubrey's Baptism day

Aubrey was baptized on June 5th 2010.
Such a fun day with the whole family! We couldn't take
a picture of it but it was the weekend of the Paris Spring run-off
so the water in the font was brown! When she went
under we couln't see her. Good thing Dad kept a
hold on her or she could have been lost!

After the baptism Papa ran to the store
and got lots of bottles of water so we
had something to drink with our dinner.

Mom is so proud of you and loved how
excited you were to be baptized! You are so
beautiful!

You loved feeling like a princess in
your new baptism dress. I hope you always
remember that feeling, and never forget
you are a princess, because you are a
daughter of a King!
