Chance's Birthday!!!

My baby Chance turned 6 today!!! the date on my camera is wrong in the picture it is the 27th of April. This is my cutie pie Chance. He is such a joy in our family. I enjoy him so much. He is always smiling and teasing. He has a very tender heart. He feels others feelings around him and tries to make others happy. He does pretty much everything you ask him to do. I can not believe my boy is growing up so fast. I asked him not to long ago what I would do when he was too big for me to hold and snuggle anymore, He answered me " don't worry mom then I will hold you, you can sit on my lap."



On Chance's special day he chose to play with his friend from school. He chose to have crepes for dinner, they are his favorite. We haven't done presents yet, we are waiting till dad comes home so that will be a blog for another day!

This is part of our vacation to Denver I almost forgot about this. This is my wonderful crazy sister! Now I know why I am so crazy, I was trained to be so!! Its impossible to not just love her!! At first when I walked in the room and saw her jumping on the bed singing a Taylor Swift song at the top of her lungs, I wanted to tell her to get down. Then I saw how much fun it was and I grabbed the nearest thing that could be a microphone so she would not show me up!!!! I highly reccomend the daughters bedroom as a recording studio. Oh and if you sing at the top of your lungs into a wand it doesn't matter if you are on key!

My little Helper

So its Sunday morning. I am sleeping. I hear the baby. I would really like to sleep longer. Just when I am about to get up, Aubrey comes in and asks if she can get Rod out of bed. Well of course!! While enjoying my time in bed resting, I hear the sweetest thing from the other room. Aubrey was singing five little monkeys swingin' in a tree. When she got to the part of "SNAP that monkey right out of that tree" Rodney would giggle. Then the others started singing too. Such a great moment as a mom. Also I made a bottle to feed him and she offered to do it for me. So here I am blogging about it while she is taking care of baby.

Angel... Our new edition.

I am completely insane. No take that back Rich is completely insane. This is what Rich decided he needed to spend his birthday money on. So Now I am two babies to feed, put down for naps, and clean up poop!! I am a dog lover so I will probably get over it. She is a cute little thing. I did forget how hard it is to potty train a small puppy, especially when spring decided not to come and winter decided to stay, and you happen to be a small puppy that the snow is too cold and too deep to stand it to be potty trained. We will figure it out. It is good to have a small dog again in our home. Nothing fills the hole in ones heart from a loss like a new puppy!

Eater Morning

No it was not a typo. I am sure it was Eater day not Easter day. So much candy, colored eggs yummy ham and cheesy potatoes. We had such a great time. The Easter bunny had a great time he said hiding baskets and candy. Shaylee had to look really hard! Then we enjoyed hanging out the rest of the day. In the evening we went to a park to play sports. Nathan got a new wiffle bat so we played baseball. but we also brought along a volleyball, and soccer ball just in case I had A.D.D and got bored of one. It was a very enjoyable time playing with the kids. A fabulous way to end our vacation with the Humes family.

Easter with the Humes in Denver

We got to go to Denver for spring break, which happened to be Easter weekend, to spend the time with my sister Jenny and her family. We had such a great time! We went to a huge aquarium (which pictures will be posted a later time they are on shaylee's camera) We went to dinner. We got to go to a huge easter egg hunt at a nearby park. Her family is amazing, so we really enjoyed ourselves! She has a 14 year old young man Jake, who is such a stud muffin. Such a good kid. He actually sacraficed his room for Rich and I to stay in what a nice kid. Then he babysat baby Rodney for me so the adults could go to dinner. Emily is her middle child 10 years old going on 20. She is such a sweatheart!! So loving to be around. Her baby is Nathan who is 3. He is a firecracker. He had us laughing most of the time with the funny things he would say. Nathan, Chance and Aubrey were great little buddies! I was so sad to leave.

Goodbye Tappy

We have had Tappy for a little over three years. I always wanted a yellow lab, and completely loved having her. She was my princess as I called her. She was a sweetheart. She had a problem when she got out she was a little bipolar and would attack people. We kept her quaranteened and close at hand at all times but when a mistake was made and she would get our she would attack someone. So We had to say goodbye to Tappy. For as much as I love her, I love my children and their friends and our neighbors more. I am not sure why she did this. It was like a jekyle and Hyde thing you never know who and when she would attack. It was never when she felt in danger it was just random,so she could not be trusted. I am going to choose to remember how she was with us a loving companion. I have cried myself to sleep for quite a few nights now, I miss her! But I will keep remembering I could not have her hurt someone worse than she allready has.
