Rodney 6 months old!

Sometimes its hard to be 6 months old!!
This picture we had to take because
Rodney is rarely making this face. He is
usually found with a smile. He has been such a
happy baby.


He is loving sitting up. He gets distracted so we have
to put pillows behind to catch him when he forgets
to use his core muscles and falls. He also loves his
fleece tractore blanket. He gets excited when you
hand it to him. smiling, kicking his feet and pulling
it immediately to his face to rub his face with it. We
got two of them because he can't fall asleep with out
them.

We refer to him as the drool monster.
His shirt is usually wet and there is always
a extra shoe lace hanging out of his mouth!
So kisses get a little slobbery but we still love to
get kisses from Rod!

Aubrey's Baptism day

Aubrey was baptized on June 5th 2010.
Such a fun day with the whole family! We couldn't take
a picture of it but it was the weekend of the Paris Spring run-off
so the water in the font was brown! When she went
under we couln't see her. Good thing Dad kept a
hold on her or she could have been lost!


After the baptism Papa ran to the store
and got lots of bottles of water so we
had something to drink with our dinner.



Mom is so proud of you and loved how
excited you were to be baptized! You are so
beautiful!


You loved feeling like a princess in
your new baptism dress. I hope you always
remember that feeling, and never forget
you are a princess, because you are a
daughter of a King!

Field day. Yeah Schools out!

The PTO added a lot of fun games for field day this year. I went to see the kids playing around. It was a fun day. They were searching for eggs in the peanuts, a mess but a good time.


This was so funny. This is a velcro wall. It is a blow up bounce activity so the kids put those big suits on, that are covered in velcro. Then they jump and bounce around and jump into a wall of velcro. So funny to watch the kids get stuck on the wall. They also just look so cute all dressed up in this large velcro seat. This is Aubrey and her friends.

Shaylee was giggling with her friends so hard I am not sure she jumped real high. It was fun to watch her and her friends have a good time their last field day ever!!! I am so proud of my kids for working so hard this year in school. I am looking forward to having a good time this summer with the kids. (note to readers the dates are wrong on these pictures.

remember when?

I was going through some old pictures to find a baby picture of Aubrey. I think we lost our camera at the time she was a baby or something. She has always been photogenic, because she has always been full of life and curiousity! This is when Chance was born Aubrey could not wait to hold him. She thought she was such a big girl. Also I love that even at 5 years old Shaylee looks so mature and responsible. Almost funny the serious look on her face. She takes being an older sister very serious! Just wanted to share this memory of the day chance was born in the Hospital, and how even six years later things haven't changed much. Aubrey still wants what Shaylee has, and wants what she is not always old enough to have, but she is always determined! Shaylee is just as responsible and in charge at least where she and Chance are concerned. And Chance is usually just hanging out all cute and innocent! Oh How I love them!

Aubrey birthday party

The date is incorrect on these photos. I was not that bad of a mother making her wait until january to celebrate her may birthday. We did celebrate in May! This was her homemade sign we made for her kind of a family tradition from back in the day before computers and it just still is my favorite way to decorate.


We made our own pizza's first then went out in the garage to hit our home made pinata. Really I am not that cheap its just funner to make your own stuff! The kids loved it. I got the idea from my friend Tami.



Aubrey is my social butterfly so we had lots of girls there. She is such a good little friend. She loves to be playing with someone at all times. We had a great time celebrating Aubrey this day.

Happy eighth birthday Brey

These are some pictures we went to the tabernacle to take for her baptism announcement. Aubrey is so excited to be baptized. She begged me to go take these pictures for her after church. She remembers her sister having similar pictures for her baptism announcement.


She is just so stinking cute and photogenic. We had a great time taking these.



We are so excited for you Brey. We love having you in our family. You are always so willing to help with what needs to be done. You are always so full of love and the desire to do good to others.

Chance's Star Wars birthday party

We had a way fun Star wars party! We had 7 of chances little friends over. They made their own pizzas, broke a darth vador pinata, and had cake.

This is a picture of our little family party the day of his birthday. He wanted to eat crepes, check, He wanted sparkling cider, check, Yoda figure, check, remote control r2d2, check, a bike(from nana and papa), check, and wanted the ambiance to be by candle light, no check I was to tired to find the candles!!
