Rod and Gil sharing a Birthday Party. New Years Eve

This is our home-made sign for Gil and Rod. The girl
cousins worked hard to make it perfect. Thanks Girls!

These are the cakes that Jodi, Marci, and I worked hard
on ALL day long! I started losing patience so thank
goodness Marci helped save the day. Shay just wanted a
big piece of chocolate so hers is the chocolate top.
Oh how sweat these two boys are!! I am so glad they get
to be cousins! Isn't my Rodney especially cute clapping
his hands as we sing Happy Birthday to them?
Rodney didn't so much like to get his hands dirty. He
was not quite sure what to do with this big, sticky, blue
thing we set right in front of him.
Gil looks a little indifferent as to what to do also.
So with a little encouragement Rod gave it a try. What I
need to point out too is it is pretty late for these boys on
New years eve. They have been with cousins all day so
their patience at learning and experiencing new things is
about gone!
Gil actually liked it a lot more then Rod did. Rod would
eat the chocolate if we broke it into pieces but the cake
and blue crap he could do without!

He did decide a mess would be fun! We had a blast all
watching them try this new experience. The Next time
I work all day on a cake we will all cut a piece and enjoy
it, not watch the baby tear it apart and not eat it!
