Rod's Actual first Birthday

This is the grand birthday cake I slaved over all day!

We saw how he did with his birthday cake at Grandma's

and that cake was enough work to last me all year. So

who doesn't like donuts? We got balloons and donuts. It

was just our little family enjoying celebrating Rod.

This is mom and Rod before we stripped him for his cake.

He loved his donut. Not such great pictures they are

blurry probably because we were all laughing and having

so much fun to hold still.

YUMMY! He did try to pick the sprinkles off. He loved the

chocolate!

Now for presents! He only needed a little help from his

brother and sisters, they were all eagerly waiting to help.

He was trying to peak and see before the unwrapping

was done.

He loved his tractor! I think we are raising another

John Deere fan! Its weird to have to buy everything

again for another boy but Chance wont give up his tractor

stuff. I don't blame him! John Deere is for every age you

can't outgrow it to pass it on.

My Rodney loves music so this is a music table he can

stand around and listen and play all sorts of music. He

loves it. He was so interested he would not even look up

at the camera long enough to catch a smile. Here he is

giving Aubrey the look, "please don't play with my new

toy, its my turn". Sometimes being the youngest is hard.

Everyone wants to do everything for you.
